Our Mission

TEN is a Poverty Alleviation and Empowerment Initiate of “Lifted” – An Indigenous Independent Non Governmental Organization which was First conceived as an arm and offshoot of TIWI.
The empowerment network (herein also referred to as the “TEN”) is an existing non-profit organisation, founded in July 2019 by its pioneers who structured the Organization as a no stock corporation.
TEN comprises of a Board of Trustees and officers who possess the requisite skills, talent, education, and employment background required to effectively direct and manage the affairs of the organization.
The vision of TEN is to provide training and financial empowerment for a minimum of 40 Million beneficiaries (Eight Million breadwinners who have up to five (5) dependents each). The organization will also establish local empowerment centers (ECs) in all seven hundred and seventy-four (774) local governments in Nigeria, with a minimum of two (2) ECs in each local government.

As at today, our trajectories suggest that Nigeria has about 91,885,874million people in extreme poverty.
Poverty has risen in Nigeria, with almost 100 million people living on less than a $1 (£0.63) a day, despite economic growth, statistics have shown.
The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) to end extreme poverty by 2030 is unlikely to be met—no thanks, in large part, to Nigeria.
